I guess the Starf Berry is Gamefreak’s choice for a booby prize. In Sun and Moon, you get one for winning a whopping 200 consecutive battles in the Battle Tree.

How did he get his battery to last that long? I thought the Pokewalker’s memory was erased if the battery was replaced.
I wish I’d known about the bag of rice trick. Mine was completely fried. I ordered a replacement from Nintendo back when they were still selling them.
Yes, you could force reset on your game itself to revert the pokemon you sent out.
His shiny hunt vids are pretty prolific - I first found them while trying to check shiny coloration differences.
I could use a new pair of headphones (or possibly replacement cups). Guess I’ll check the recent headphones article.

Ys 8 was the strangest announcement - because XSeed usually handles it. Hopefully the (presumable) translator change won’t result in anything too jarring.
It’s early and I had to read through a few times to understand.
I had to go back and read the article, and the one from yesterday, and the facebook post. I would say “non-literal copying” is the problematic term- I have no idea what it is, and the onus is on the lawyers to define it.
I can’t imagine having to sit in court while some “expert witness” makes claims about my code. I would have a fit.
So there’s a multiplicative effect? Can you get stuck from falling behind the curve?
Perhaps Saban didn’t notice and would’ve sued otherwise. Even though the inspiration for Featherman is obviously Science Ninja Team Gatchaman.
I saw this in action yesterday, but didn’t think anyone was going to post about it.
I watched a match with an Eevee user in European VGC that might’ve been him. The opponent used Curse against him and that got passed by Baton Pass, so he adjusted his selection/strategy.
Were you satisfied with the nature you got? Tailoring the stat distribution to control which stat Beast Boost increases seems like a big deal.
This pleases me. Megaman II’s castle music got all the attention and memes, but IV has 4 great consecutive tracks, the last being my favorite.
Game sync only succeeds if you wait an hour (or two?) between syncs. That’s a relic from when it was first introduced - perhaps it’s there to reduce stress on the servers. I find it annoying because it means an extra message every time I hop online.
Jason’s powers have finally looped around and now he’s delayed himself.
The Battle Institute, with 5 consecutive battles? Nope. The closest equivalent is the (4-way) Battle Royale, and that ends with someone loses all 3 pokes. Enjoy the framerate drop. Everything else (the Battle Tree) is stupid long streaks, same as always.
The game’s kinda rough, even for GBC. Combat is sluggish and every special move costs health. Maybe I was just bad at picking a team. The script is great though - good ole Tony Jones has a quip for every situation. I think there was a VC port too? I don’t have the stamina to go back and replay it.
