Glad you’re covering the event. The crowds are a bit too big for me to feel comfortable around, but it’s always nice to see what’s going on.

What sub judice said.

That’s a good question. They both feature over-the-top casts and insane breakdowns by criminals. There’s no Monokuma, but you get a series of wacky prosecutors to make up for it. They do both split into investigation and trial phases, though they play out a bit differently. (They tend to alternate after each trial

Too many stream events going on at the same time. x_X I’ll try and catch a recap.

I stupidly sent mine to my brother when the DS Lite came out because I believed the DS Lite would fill all my needs and that I wouldn’t need a second unit. The post office gave me a hard time and my brother gave it away anyways.

I played the original PC game, read up on the reboot but didn’t quite get around to getting it, so watching this trailer and the others is the closest thing possible to coming out of a 20-year cryogenic freeze. It’s something else. I’m sorry to see that “movie trailer music” is now the standard.

Is it that simple? I believe some cartridges have the battery soldered to the board, so you have to be careful about removing it and re-soldering it.

Atelier Annie, of all things?? I don’t think that game is even worth its retail price. Hope that guy didn’t have to pay a big listing fee...

I wasn’t expecting this trend. I would think having to conduct battery surgery on cartridges from certain generations of games (though plenty of them just use a password system or no save system at all) would give people pause. Then there’s hardware maintance too...

I despise mandatory training and webinars, can’t even imagine some idiot using them for metrics. Good on you for getting out of there.

AHHHHHH! Is there nothing US copyright laws/traditions won’t ruin?

I can never hear “centralized servers” without shuddering.

I can’t think of a single instance of tv/studio executive involvement that wasn’t cringeworthy.

I heard it was once so humid inside the Big Sight, a condensation cloud formed. I wouldn’t doubt it.

Twitch muted all but a half hour of a 2 1/2 hour stream? That’s pathetic. Way to go, Twitch.

I’m actually happy that Kotaku is fixed on specific Youtubers, instead of my favorite obscure Let’s Players. Some of them would probably quit if inundated by Gawker trolls.

The reoccurring JRPG soundtrack threads are always great, not just because they get offended fans worked up in a lather (can you really have a Best of List with 100 tracks?) but also because i can sift through the responses for forgotten gems.

Why do they always come here. I guess we’ll never know. o.o

They’re being built at the Henson Creature Shop? We’re dead now.

It’s been a long time since I watched the Christopher Reeve Superman movies, but I always thought he did a good job with body language to make the two sides of Superman seem different.
