Fans in Japan were pointing out in-game references to Rose's VA, supposedly the producer's favorite. Even factoring in their nerd rage, it feels like the producer is exhibiting a lack of self-restraint.

I was just wondering about that. I guess a small player base can be a huge disadvantage.

Star Blazers is partially responsible for Atlanta's con scene being what it is.

Oh, I meant that in a joking fashion. Let it stay. I'm more offended for the peaches... being tarted up like that probably means they're low-quality and barely edible.

Weren't the new image restrictions put in place to prevent exactly this sort of thing? x_X

When I saw the post title, I started cracking up.

What I remember of that movie was seriously depressing. Watching the Hulk plummet to earth in slow motion, dying from the impact, turning back into Bixby. I think that's the only comic book-related death that ever made me sad.

This version of Spiderman reminds me of the one on the Electric Company. They had the best villains. Who could forget the terror of The Wall?

I hope they're readying an amazing "player failed" fanfare sound.

Looking good, Donphan.

Whoops... I did not think ASW published anything. That explains the style differences.

I was hyped to get this game, even after learning it was an Arc System Works (who crapped the bed with XBlaze, another VN) product. Unfortunately, I didn't reserve it, so I couldn't get it at the places I usually visit. I'll have to hit up some other stores tomorrow.

I prefer visual novels on Vita; it seems like where they belong. If the artwork is amazingly detailed, then I might prefer PC/console. The second screenshot here looks like it'll barely fit on a Vita.

Oh yeah, going to local cons does present an unusual dilemma: whether to spring for a hotel or shuttle back and forth. I park onsite and dump my stuff off during AWA, but I'm unsure of how to handle the downtown cons where I'll be taking the MARTA. The lack of a base of operations is a pain. I'll probably just go

I am completely baffled by complaints, here and elsewhere, about the new price point for Atlus games. It's above industry standard, which makes it an easy target, but 50 bucks doesn't buy much developer time. For 50 bucks, I can hire a handyman for an hour, and I consider that a reasonable rate.

One or more of these games that release this month: Atelier Shallie, Code S.T.E.A.M., Toukiden Kiwami, Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters.

Etrian Odyssey was right all along.

I would like to verify this difficulty for myself, but my copy is currently in limbo.

They never learn. They probably think a greenhorn with no system documentation can take over.

Goddammit.
