True, re: Blood Dragon. But not much of that extra stuff is really needed to experience the main story. It’s filler, but I like a certain amount of filler. Especially in a game like Blood Dragon where you’ve got overpowered weapons once the main campaign ends, but there’s plenty of stuff left that you can wreak havoc

I like big boats, and I cannot lie.

I see the bathroom uses the Three Seashells method.

Going old school.

When combined, I think Knife of Dunwall and Brigmore Witches make a stronger overall game than the base Dishonored. I had more fun, anyway. That said, it’s hard to judge truly on its own since it builds on top of the base game’s story and gameplay. Which is really what makes it such a fantastic expansion, of course.

Far

The Big Nothing is weird. Some edges it starts draining your health the moment you go off the map. Others I can drive pretty darn far before my health starts going down.

While making it infinite would be cool, if anything what I’d like is the convoys to respawn, and maybe each time they do, there are more cars/tougher

It does have an emergency brake, but I think the game doesn’t tell you about it. I’m playing with controller on PC and it’s mapped to B.

Does the modded version of Giana Sisters for Commodore 64 count?

Oh fer cryin’ out loud. The MOMENT I buy a game that’s been console exclusive for the longest time ever it then gets announced for PC. I got Valkyria Chronicles maybe a month before the PC version was announced. And I just picked up Dragon’s Dogma at the beginning of the summer.

I’m tempted to buy Red Dead Redemption

Their website says real-time strategy.

The front page of the site says “Create unique characters and fight in a variety of game modes, cooperative or player-vs-player.”

However, the “backstory” page does say there’s a single-player campaign, so it doesn’t look like it will be multiplayer only.

Their site actually does specify “inspired by Fallout Tactics.”

“I just want to get married, have kids, then turn into a cannibalistic ghoul and eat my children. Is that too much to ask?”

I’d rather there be a Fallout LIFE game.

Well, Spielberg is directly responsible for 3 out of 4 of those.

Now playing

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter.

That’s probably the only recent game I really remember saying to myself that I’d buy it just based on how beautiful it looks. The people didn’t look spectacular, but those rocks! THOSE. ROCKS.

The game’s also great, and had more puzzles than I was honestly expecting, and the soundtrack is

Came here to say the same thing, with Tetris as the same example. A game doesn’t need to have a narrative for it to be an amazing gaming experience.

Can I get Toy Soldiers: Visionaries? Or Toy Soldiers: Sectaurs? Or Toy Soldiers: Robotix? Or Toy Soldiers: M.A.S.K.?
