That's why I'm here!

Then they should've said "X-COM", as the old series had a hyphen before the reboot. Also, the original Shadowrun video game and X-COM games came out just about at the same time, and neither of the old versions look that much like this new game.

Looks a lot more like Shadowrun Returns to me than the recent XCOM, but granted those games have a bunch in common anyway.

Would be pretty funny if it turns out Annie Leibovitz herself sent in the unretouched photos to claim the ten grand.

Now playing

Have you seen this Battlestar game based on the FreeSpace2 engine?

They ditched the touchscreen in the center, and replaced it with... empty space?

Did Shia LaBeouf make this?

"I've spent all life teaching myself to read!"

In my mind this reads as "SimCity is finally coming out!"

"developers who make these PS3/PC/NDS games only have to tweak their games for the TRON to make them compatible."

When the matriculated zombies masticate the living does the virus metastasize in their bodies?

Looks like a precursor to the rebel helmets from Star Wars.

You're pretty much correct. The article mentions how the settings are all about making the game beautiful just for screenshots, not about making the game playable while looking that good.

DayZ is the good one.

As goofy as the premise of this game sounds, I'm interested in seeing what the game play will be like. The Aliens license (with or without Predator) has been stuck as first-person shooters for too long now. There have been recent attempts to do something different, like the other Colonial Marines game Obsidian was

Yeah, obviously they took the same engine and just made another game with it. Plenty of games do that and it doesn't make them an expansion pack (Fallout New Vegas, for example) but to a degree that's just an issue of semantics anyway.

I got the season pass at a super-discount but haven't gotten around to any of the DLC yet. But I pretty much agree with what you said.

Where's Spider-Man when you need him?

Jaxxyn? Did they name him after Jaxxon, the green space rabbit from the Marvel Star Wars comics?
