OK, the second high-res BSA only totaled around 400 megs for me. I extracted the file and a majority of the texture files are zero K. Something must have gone wrong during d/l from Steam, but I can't figure out how to re-download that file. Anyone else able to report what size the "highrestexturepack02" is?

Did the high-res DLC change any other BSA files other than the new "highrestexturepack" files? Those together are around 2 gigs, but the DLC was 3 gigs. Did it change the meshes or original texture BSA as well?

I liked it in Fallout 3. But since you could repair a weapon with another weapon that matched, and didn't require constantly going to vendors or workbenches or what-have-you, it didn't interrupt the game play. And in that narrative it reinforced the idea that functioning objects were scarce. For the worn, scorched

ARENA in Skyrim engine.

It was like some sort of proto-furry.

"I used to be a fashion model like you..."

I REALLY just want the Creation Kit to come with hi-res versions of all the texture assets. Really, what bugs me most about the game is how graphically inconsistent it is, resolution-wise. They've got 1024px textures used on tiny objects and some 256px textures stretched over large surfaces.

It didn't bother me much in RDR, but I know what you mean. In RDR you can go into almost every building, so that may have limited how large the cities could be, but I don't see why you really DO need to be able to go into every building. You certainly can't enter every building in GTA or L.A. Noire, and while in urban

I'd agree, except Enslaved came out in 2010.

This show will be in its second season before Fez is done.

It's going to be fictional.

I'd have to give The Pacific another chance. I watched three episodes as they came out and was disappointed. They just didn't live up to Band of Brothers. I can only judge based on those episodes, but from the first few minutes of BoB I was hooked and watched that series as it aired. The Pacific just didn't do it for

Considering the original Medal of Honor game was developed by Dreamworks because Steven Spielberg wanted a WWII game, and Spielberg produced Band of Brothers, the influence makes sense. Quite a number of BoB actors have performed voices in MoH and I think even CoD games.

The Uncharted games have a few of those "running toward the camera" bits as well. Very cinematic, but annoying when you can't see what jump or obstacle is five feet in front of you. There's only like two or three of those sequences per game, and they're short, but still, dying during them and having to do the whole

I hate it when they trick me into thinking it's a cutscene, then all of a sudden there's a prompt in the corner that I'm totally oblivious to.

How about with the Creation Kit they release the high-res sources for all the textures in the game? Sure, there are a lot of good HD mods out there, but none of them are complete and most of them alter the style/colors of the original textures. I'd like a play through with the original art design, but the current

King? KING? Did he even PLAY Skyrim???

Maybe I'm missing something, but I can't figure out what this mode will do. They say decisions you make in the game will be permanent, but what does that mean? I played BioShock 1 and I'm trying to to remember when I was able to change my mind about a decision I already made. Like, if one moment I decided to kill a

It looks like this game has a stamina bar, which seems to imply that while climbing you need to get where you're going before you wear yourself out. So you won't be able to just hang in place forever while you figure out your next move or pick off enemies, like in Uncharted.

I'm really loving Skyrim, and it's definitely on my favorites this year, but I don't know how much of a leap forward it is in the series. I figure it *must* be improved over Oblivion, but I only played that for about an hour. I did play all of Fallout 3 and its DLC, and compared to that game I'd say Skyrim's taken a
