There are a few small scale moments like that, such as helping character A and now character B won't talk to you. Or killing another character and other NPCs now talk about it. But you're right that there are only tiny changes you can make to the world, nothing really significant.
So basically he just wanted to skip making the first film and jump straight to making its sequel.
Wasn't there a Lego Baggins in the book? :P
Looks like it's got better detective game play than L.A. Noire. If only it had the facial animation tech, or perhaps a more stylized design.
Now can I get a "I work for Belethor at the General Goods store" remix?
Since Mercer is the antagonist in the second game, I'm sure we'll still learn more about his story.
I haven't had any lag yet on my PS3 version. I did notice, before the patch, each time I saved the file size increased a bit. Even if I didn't DO anything, the file size went up. Like if I saved the game, then right after that saved again, even in a new slot, the file got bigger. Post-patch, it doesn't seem to be…
i2hellfire: That's incorrect. The images are projected on the walls and floor specifically for viewing from the camera's angle. For instance, during the part when he seems to be in the spherical room, from his angle the lines on the wall and the lines on the floor won't give him the illusion of being in a sphere. You…
What Batman game is the left pic in the header from? It looks last-gen, but I don't remember a game that had him in that costume.
Fox banned it from repeats during the show's original run. It's been shown on TV since, but when it first aired Fox used to repeat the last week's episode of X-Files the night before. They didn't for this episode, nor did they re-air it during the off season.
I just can't help think of that banned episode of The X-Files.
Yeah! It was funny the first time she said it, but once was enough. And they seriously couldn't give her, like THREE possible responses? Or maybe just randomize how often she'll say that versus nothing at all?
How about SAVING settings! Every time I load the game I'd have to re-map my buttons.
I was under the impression that with the addition of Villagers, the player could actually get quests. Like a villager would need some ore, or skeleton bones, or whatever. Just pretty simple quests, but enough that if you're just exploring it would be extra incentive to DO something.
And yet the guy at the general store in the first town you enter has the same voice and dialog as the guy at the general store in the second town you enter.
I really enjoyed Ocarina of Time, until my N64 was stolen. I never got back into it. I tried to return to Zelda with Twilight Princess, and while I enjoyed it for a few hours, it just got tedious. I still have it, though, and I keep thinking I might return to it someday. But whenever I look at videos of Skyward Sword…
I played Skyrim for awhile and ran into that similar problem of my Quests window just looking like a large laundry list of things to do. While I love wandering around aimlessly (my favorite parts of Red Dead Redemption where the treasure hunts), I really do like to play through the story of RPGs like these. With…
Every time I stop to pick flowers in Skyrim I hear John Marston say "Now that's what I'm talkin' about!"
Agreed. I was thrilled when I saw those last two screenshots, then instantly disappointed when I updated Minecraft on my Mac to see the crafting interface is the same as before.
