I say this as a life long Mets fan, whose day to day mood is unfortunately partially dictated by the team: This is not at all surprising. This sort of dysfunction has been steady through several GMs, managers, and rosters. The mood of the team for years has been a place where good players go for their careers to die.

My favorite Mets’ing had to be K-Rod’s reaction to Luis Castillo dropping a pop up to lose a game, then trying to attack Brian Bruney for calling out his mound antics, then a year later punching his father in law to break his thumb and end his season.

Yes, EA is indeed responsible for a lot.

For anyone who has ever been curious about the game but heard how awful the combat/general gameplay was, just do a pistol stealth build and please enjoy this unique as fuck game. The janky gameplay won’t even be a thought after a couple hours.

When he exiled himself for cheating, he broke kayfabe. It didn't hurt him at all

E3 is typically heavy on artifice and carefully-curated marketing speak. That leads to foulups like “giant enemy crab.”

the only reason he thinks he can get away with it is literally every single experience he’s ever had.

Do you think we could conceivably say that Rey is number 3 after El Santo and Mil Mascaras in the pantheon of Lucha Libre?

Now I kind of want the Blazers to win it all just to see what happens when he goes to the White House.

So the pro-lifers will demand the death penalty for the killing of an “unborn child”, right? They’ll also ban guns as a surgical instrument used in abortions, right?

Paddack felt like he deserved the award and had been snubbed. We know this because he came right out and said so.

Middle-aged Southern white dude here:

I never heard of Nipsey Hussle until he was killed. But everything I’ve heard about him since his murder makes it sound like he was a pretty damned good guy and wanted to use his talent, money and fame to help other young black men succeed. His loss is a tragedy for all of us who

I’m kinda torn between “this guy has been screaming help for a while” and “did he really have to stream live the SWAT coming for him?”.

Taking a break from shoplifting without consequences ....

This is just like when my wife gets mad at me about a dream she had. I don’t know the solution, but I definitely recognize the problem.

Hey, despite his perennial fall collapses, never forget that Chris Sale is a guy with a great attitude and a killer work ethic, unlike that pain in the ass David Price, who is just so entitled and lazy! No sir, there’s definitely nothing problematic about these commonly held options at all—not with Boston’s fan base. [

Now playing

When he was on the Buffalo Bisons, Andy Marte used “Chacarron” as his walk-up song and it was his single greatest contribution to the city of Buffalo.

I don’t know if he used previously, but when Dave Parker was with the Brewers, they played “Sledgehammer” for his walkup. This was because he actually swung a sledgehammer in the on deck circle.  Always thought that was pretty cool, even though Parker was an asshole.

Deadspin does the why your team sucks and it caught media attention in STL. A bunch of people in stl didn’t realize it was a thing they do for every team and got butthurt and came to the site to complain/clapback. Deadspin thought it was hilarious a bunch of dummies got mad and beat that dead horse for every click.
