“This game is better/tolerable when high” tells me nothing. or at least nothing good/is damning it with faint praise.
It reminds me of the saga of Brad Shoemaker (formerly of Giant Bomb) falling in and then out of love with Clash Royale, and fuming at the smiley/crying laughing emojis you could send people after matches. He found that more infuriating than just being cursed at, because it has a veneer of smugness and sarcasm attached.
Kotaku: Toxicity in online spaces is bad
Remember Shingy? This has been going on for ages. Trick some rich people into thinking you are a “visionary” and they’ll throw money at you and pay you to fly around and talk to rich people.
So Elon Musk is a herb?
Because they were the first and the best and the standard to which all other launchers are held. The market has also indicated that it is the one that is preferred, generally speaking. It is the most used and most feature rich and comsumer friendly.
I dunno, Sega brought all the Yakuza/LAD games to PC after realizing there was a big market that was hungry for it. I figured this was just like that: the quest for more money, not some desperate grasp.
What’s up with Japanese devs being unable or unwilling to read the room? Remember when the Metal Gear Collection was hyped up, and then it turned out to be a clothing line? Literally a “collection” like a Spring or Fall collection.
If Sony nuts up and throws their marketing weight behind GBVH, I think they’ll be fine. Look at No Man’s Sky: that wasn’t even the game it was promoted as, and it did okay for itself.
I can’t think of a bigger tech purchase in recent years that I regret more than the PSVR, so good luck to them. Hopefully PSVR2 actually works, considering it costs more than the thing required to make it work (unless you can use it on your PC or something)
Not that it excuses any of the other stuff, but haven’t public facing entertainers been pretending to be single/available for literally decades? They did it with the Beatles and boy bands: the money is in the parasocial relationship. Of course it makes sense to keep that stuff on the hush: streamers are just playing…
Which is odd because the front page also has a different article about how Sasha Grey is doing stuff for Cyberpunk 2077. She’s long retired now, but she made her name in the adult film industry.
Hopefully it’s not voiced acted. That was a huge resource hog which made the dialogue in Fallout 4 way worse than NV or 3.
I was wondering why her name seemed so familiar.
I'd rather dive into the Dashcon ball pit. At least I know it's unsafe. This foam pit had the illusion of safety.
The thing with the Metaverse is that it’s not a thing people want to use, it’s a thing people like Shah SAY people want to use.
So Jeff Gerstmann’s baby (the wiki, not Giant Bomb) gets folded into Wikia/Fandom. What an ignoble end, I guess.
If they wanted to focus more on Twitch personalities, wouldn’t people just go to Twitch?
Has anyone suggested just bringing back TechTV?
