This show loves to repeat stuff and hammer home points, esp if it doesn’t need to. Why is Picard saying “Seven of Nine?!” at the end of the last episode when we all know who she is? Also, how do they know each other? They’ve never interacted on screen or in movies.

Yeah, it’s weird. This entire show is a nostalgia-play, and they go out of their way to reference the old shows (this week it was Rios’ fake reference “Mr Quark from Ferenginar”) and then they do weird stuff like “recast Bruce Maddox for some reason”. And that’s after they bothered to bring back Hugh for like a bit…

So it would have been the same game, just without being able to say the word “Jedi”.

Mission Hill and Daria are shows I need to watch, preferably via piracy because of all the licensed music (they all got into ugly “The State” levels of music changes due to licensing stuff)
