Finally, Compete truly belongs on Deadspin.
Finally, Compete truly belongs on Deadspin.
Except one of them just had a kid in relative secrecy? Like, they released a press release about it after the fact, saying “they chose to step away at this time for their privacy” meaning they could easily get private if they wanted to. They just.....don’t want to.
I agree except for the part about Chidi: his friend never seemed to be supportive of his indecisiveness, and he even pretended to get married a month earlier than he actually was to prove a point about not wanting Chidi to be his best man/having any responsibilities.
Yup. And it does seem like Schur is learning from Lindelof’s mistakes and trying to avoid some of the pitfalls Lost fell into: he’s self aware enough to say that a show like this really only gets to do a Season 1 type of twist once, and every other time you do it it becomes more ineffective and insulting.
I knew very little about this show besides the concept and the season 1 twist before I watched both seasons this past weekend. Once you realize it’s heavily inspired by Lost, it starts to make more sense.
I still have an unopened, sealed copy of the PS3 HD remaster I received as a gift many years ago. But if this is the definitive version, with better controls, fixed difficulty (IIRC the PS3 remaster used a European version with its own difficulty quirks), and a steady solid 60FPS framerate (finally!), then I might…
Porzingas!
I for one am glad Keza still posts here after moving on from Kotaku.
“No, no breaks”
Wait, was the video card from Stephen a holiday gift, or some sort of tax writeoff/business expense?
How much do you feel your list was affected by a lot of games just being long and open world-y this year? Like you mentioned you play a lot of games way longer than you expected, but the big boppers this year were just so....LONG. And not entirely in a bad way.
*goes on for a bit about how new motherhood makes playing long games difficult*
I mean, I probably could have used a list like this BEFORE Christmas when my family was over, instead of the day after, but eh.
Wait, Cecilia is into pro-graps as well?
Huh, Noelle Foley and her clown of a boyfriend showed up for this thing?
What an fantastic concept for a manga/TV show. This write up definitely has me intrigued, even if the manga and show will be in a language I cannot understand. I just hope the subject matter is handled in a way that feels truthful and respectful to both Japanese culture and the queer community.
I’m glad to see the game got a good review.
I actually JUST picked up a set of PS3 instruments off Craigslist along with Beatles Rock Band, and bought RB1/2/Lego/Track Pack Vol 2.
Battlechef Brigade releases on Switch and PC today, right?
Honestly, considering how the conversation started and was framed, I assumed Casey was going to be more yoked than she actually is. But she’s just a normal looking, very fit person. This is not a judgment of any sort: she’s clearly far more fit than I am.
