So why not just get a Ranger? This is what doesn’t make sense at all. People bitch about the Ranger pricing compared to the F150. Now, you’re going to take the same thing, most likely charge a premium for it, and all the sudden everyone is ok with it. It doesn’t make any sense.

What you are looking for is a trailer. This all seems like things a trailer could do. Or, rent a pickup from Home Depot for $20.

That’s not how it works. You need to justify huge capital spend with growth on that cash. Chevy isn’t going to get you there. You use Cadillac as your cash cow to justify the spend. Then, after you’ve made your return on investment, you can scale to other, more obtainable brands.

You’re assuming by turbocharged, they’re saying twin turbo. If that’s the case, yes, 400 is probably where their aiming. If it’s single, I’d assume somewhere in the 350 range which is more than enough.

That’s the problem though. People are going into these long, “free money” loans because that’s what shoehorns into their budget. There isn’t room to make extra payments. And usually, downpayment is whatever they’re trading in.

We already do. It’s called a lease.

A. The new Ranger is great. B. It’s exactly what we thought it would be. C. This will probably be great too. D. We get it, Neanderthals are upset this isn’t a Model T.

Squinty headlights/large grill, you just described 80% of cars today. You are correct though, both have a line running from the headlight to the rear quarter panel.

Not even close. But if you were to get it confused with the new Tahoe/Yukon, I’d completely understand.

This is my biggest issue with it. The overall look is fine. It’s a clean, safe look. But go look at the overall lines and compare to the Tahoe/Yukon. It’s exactly the same. The tail lights are exactly the same at the base. It’s like GM is going back to the 90's with it’s rebadges.

Oh boy... I’d say somewhere around $2,500. Best guess as it was over a couple year span. Struts were like $1,500 if I remember correctly. Everything else was about $1,000.

I live in Wisconsin so lots of cold/salt/wet/snow/ice. I wouldn’t say I’m the best at caring for my vehicles or an easy driver. It wasn’t meant to disprove you as it was a data point. Honda’s stuff can last a long time.
