Well, when you lead with your head, never. That’s the point.

I did not admit is inefficient. I said I’d like to see the data around it.
ha totally didn’t realize he’s on pace for 300 k’s. Pretty impressive actually.
It does matter. A lot actually. Maximizing dollars is important. While $20k may seem like a lot, if 60% is administration expenses, only $8k made it to the pockets of the poor. That doesn’t help anything.
Ah poor, poor Red Sox fan...
How are you supposed to observe when you’re stuck with what you have? How do you expect a kid to realize that that’s not how life has to be? How do you expect a kid to know what they’re doing is wrong if no one is there to teach them? If you do finally realize there is better, can someone afford it? Can they afford to…
I would agree but that doesn’t mean they won’t. And we really do need to be careful who we’re calling rich. I make $120k in a suburb of Milwaukee and live a comfortable life. Many would call me wealthy. That doesn’t fly in a San Fran/Denver/New York.
So what happens when you’re born into a family of fuck ups, live in poverty, get a horrible education, and don’t know what good decisions are? What happens when you make a bad decision and have to work two or three jobs just to live. When is there time to get that education and make good decisions?
Your post was rich people buy things, creating jobs for people. Isn’t that demand = jobs? At my office, it’s not like my bosses and shareholder’s are like “hey, we feel like driving some economic growth and stimulation. Let’s hire 100 more people today!” They look at our forecast and trends. Look at what demand is…
I think you just agreed with him?
No one cares about those names. Younger people they’re trying to attract have no attachment to those names what so ever. So give it up. Seriously.
Psht Taco Bell tastes fucking amazing all the time.
I mean, I love the Packers/Brewers/Bucks but not enough to put myself in financial hardships to go. I know many people who make sure they have money for that but nothing else.
Oh I get it. It’s more a philosophic statement. I love sports but I think what we’ve turned them into is stupid.
Bingo, this 1000%.
I get that. I’m just saying as a whole. Shit is getting stupid out of hand. Sports is at the top of my list. We put way too much stock and value on people running around with a ball. They are the modern day gladiators.
I just read an article about a season ticket holder who’s tickets are going to $1000 to $2900 for the same seats. The article said on average ticket prices will increase 70%.
That makes me want to throw up. I have trouble paying $20 to see the Brewers play in pretty decent seats...
I’m not arguing that. I get that and from their perspective, good for them. I’m saying society as a whole. Instead of a company paying stupid prices for seats, maybe you could pay someone a little more to actually fucking live. Or put that money towards better society. Instead we blow money on things that don’t matter.
I too have thought about this. How great would it be for ESPN to gearing up for a huge game between Golden State and Cleveland. The camera pans out to the stadium and it’s nothing but beer sales and camera guys looking at each other. When we finally realize sports don’t matter and there are far more important things…
