I think it’s a reference to media cycles where if you don’t want as much media traction on something the thinking is it’s best to release the news on a Friday night. I’m not sure how true that axiom is, but it seems like in this case it doesn’t really apply because no one cares about this show anyway, so the news…

I don’t know how you could dump on all the other Marvel finales while talking about Loki S1 like it wasn’t stuffed with 20 minutes of remarkably poorly paced exposition from Jonathan Majors’ making his very first appearance.

I don’t really find this surprising. Grande has always sort of come off as someone who thinks very highly of herself and does what she wants when she wants, other people or consequences be damned. Preventing her ex from revealing anything negative helps further this goal, so it’s a no-brainer.

All the shows have basically been meh. If they are shooting for more than meh, they need to change things up.
