I penalize it for making Pitt Billy Beane when Art Howe got C. Philip Hoffman? If Snatch is not on this list, it is incomplete.  And it is a slide show so I cannot participate.

Glad 12 Monkeys was ahead of Fight club, I love Fight Club but 12 Monkeys was fucking great.

I’d put Moneyball at the top, both for the movie being so incredibly rewatchable and for Pitt’s lovely work.

I’m not a Pitt fan - not even close but I liked Fight Club and Meet Joe Black. There are a dozen other of his movies that I would like to enjoy but - I hate to write this - the guy talks like he has a dick in his mouth. And not in the “plummy” way that some British toffs speak.

I’m skeptical on Flo “stepping in to direct” any of the film. There are usually other units and backups for that sort of thing, no?

I’m not surprised and sad as it is, in a way for many close to her it may be a bit of a relief. I know she’s not been well for years now, suffering a stroke and dementia. And that’s a really hard thing to see a loved one go through. Most of my grandparents went through it and I’m really dreading my own parents…

That’s what I was thinking. This demanding and difficult auteur was ruling with an iron fist and threatening a 12-year-old to craft a generic sitcom that radically changed directions every two years. It’s Herzog and Kinski all over again.

Exactly. Reservations just give companies something to spin into marketing bullshit. And the concept of a “conquest reservation” is so flimsy I can’t even believe Jalopnik became GM’s mouthpiece to parrot it.

As has been discussed in other articles, 150k reservations doesn’t really mean much. Given the current trend of opening up reservations ages ahead of vehicles going on sale, and then all of the delays because of shortage, you’d be dumb not to put a reservation in if there was any chance you were remotely interested.
