I actually like the rules in place about that motor. It would invite creative engine designs, especially in the wake of other considerations (Your fuel tank can only be a certain size, so do you go for a high-RPM twelve cylinder, or more efficient torquey V6?)

Facelifted cars in years past actually looked pretty good post-facelift. Nowadays, they’re just over designed and ugly compared to their pre-facelifted version. Manufacturers need to learn how to leave a good design alone. This is the perfect case of “just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.”
