Counterpoint: Polestar.
A nice V60 wagon in Swedish Racing Green.

Sidney and Gizmodo Staff. We get it. You don’t like Trump. And you don’t like anything Trump does or any of his appointees. But if you turn your website into soft core leftist politics porn (as you are doing):

Toyota has never, ever made a good ad, at least not in 20 years. Not in print, not on TV, not on a billboard. If Toyota was a meal, it would be Milk and Toast. The only one that came close to making me chuckle was the Swagger Wagon bits from several years ago, but even those got tedious because they were too long. But

Counterpoint: no they don’t.

I miss the old jalopnik.

“very reminiscent of Nazi Germany,”Give me a break. This kind of rhetoric is what is actually dividing this country. I seriously doubt the person who said that was anywhere near Nazi Germany during WWII.

The fact that GM even has the capacity to make this but will no longer be doing so (I get it, poor sales, nobody buys them, blah blah blah I can still complain) makes my soul ache

I don’t think either of those have anywhere near the mass-recognition of a Jeep grille.

Hey, I love the fact that Ford won GTLM as much as anybody. But “real cars that real people can buy”? That’s a bit of a stretch when it comes to the cost and limited availability of the Ford GT.

Besides WTR, i’m rooting for them. Little 2.0 4cyl taking out the huge V8s would be sort of rad

Newest yes, fastest? No, not at all.

Thank you for writing this.

THis has been my major complaint since Brian and Co first messed with the Cup Series. They change something every single year. I’m a pretty devoted NASCAR follower and it’s hard for me to keep up. If this season and the new changes doesn’t bring the exact finish that NASCAR wants this year expect more changes next

Boring and purposely-artificial (the caution timer yellows for the truck series was the last straw for it being a real racing series) racing series makes changes to make racing far more complicated and artificial. Got it.

I just... ugh. I missed races last year. I’ve watched every race since like 97 until last year. BUt last year, I just... didn’t feel like watching. This is even worse than the chase. Please, bring back the old points system.

This....

Thanks, Bernie!

The new format is basically the all star race format, which everyone hates. The problem is this: the races are too long and plotting, but they fill are 4 hour block of television on a sunday. Making the races shorter would lose the sanctioning body millions in ad revenue. They are trying to turn it into heat races

Yup, same here. It’s like WWE: fake drama/controversy/fighting. Completely stupid.

I have said for years now that NASCAR is no better than an adolescent, constantly insecure and unsure of what it wants to do.
