You mean China?
The two minute slices of heaven between breakdowns will make it all worthwhile!
Bold prediction. The Quadrifoglio will sit on dealer lots collecting dust and fanboy fingerprints -12 months later, Alfa will kindly offer you 15k off sticker to take the diseased Quadri from it’s showroom.
Ok, people keep saying that the Guila is beautiful, but they gotta be lying, right?
Is there a reason why almost no one makes V8s under 4.0L? It’s great that we can make so much power efficiently out of 2.9l but almost no one really aspires to own a V6.
Now before you go all “but GODZILLA!”, you can’t tell me if that if they made a V8 TT VR motor your pants wouldn’t feel 3 sizes too small.
Save $10,000 by getting an ATS-V and blow the savings on rear tires, which you’ll certainly need.
Foreign oil? The US is now an exporter of oil. As someone who remembers the oil crisis, this is a bloody miracle
If it wasn’t for the government then the US Auto industry would’ve gone out of business 7 years ago, if not decades sooner.
and “re-fueling”-wise. takes me 3 minutes to fill up my truck and have over 400 miles of range
No, people aren’t buying EV’S because batteries fucking suck. People won’t start buying them until they can be recharged in 5 minutes and there are universal supercharging stations at every gas station.

You know what’s not good for the American car industry? Going out of business. Ford doesn’t want to be forced to make shit no one will buy, but Fields main motivation is that these regulations are not rushed in to, which is arguably what just happened. Regulations most definitely need to be in place and OEMs need to…
It still looks blatantly like a Dallara, so much for manufacturer styling cues then.
There’s also something “missing” from this, and I can’t quite put my finger on it. The Northstar cars were kind of uncompetitive, but they still sort of had an aura to them, this in comparison just seems a bit cookie-cutter.
This is a Daytona Prototype International (DPi) spec car, not an LMP1. This will race in the IMSA WeatherTech series and may be allowed to run at LeMans, but the FIA and ACO don’t want DPi spec cars to race as P1s or P2s in the full WEC season.
That would be sad. LMP1 is about technological masterpieces battling for supremacy. It’s what you want but don’t get from F1.
Hey maybe LMP1 will die off, and DP/LMP2 will rise to the top and this could contend for overall at Le Mans.
Suck it, hippies.
