To be fair Melania did read something as well. No idea if Trump did - given his inability to stick to the script I doubt it.

Nah, baronetcys were sold by the Crown. No need to have done anything other than had money.

Second woman is allegedly his ex-wife. What is the opposite of shocked and stunned? Because I would have put good money on it being wife/girlfriend or ex-wife/ex-girlfriend who isn’t doing what he wants. I hope she and her family are safe and have some kind of protection because if this doesn’t end with him going

Or actually book seats for the crew you need to move around.

She’s using his own words. Words that everyone knows he said because he said them on a now widely broadcast tape. How the hell can that be slander?

What gets me is Zeke says he doesn’t believe Varner hates trans people. THAT’S WORSE!

Press Secretary is a job which has one basic qualification - good communication skills (especially without preparation). And it’s a qualification Spicer blatantly obviously doesn’t have. And I thought Josh Lyman was bad at press conferences....

Exactly. On a technical level his original comments were accurate, if horrendously phrased - because Hitler used chemicals as a means of execution not as weapons used against armies or enemy civilian centres - but referring to Assad’s victims as innocent as if Hitler’s weren’t and suggesting that the victims weren’t

If the victims were the target of the humour it would be sociopathic. Given that it’s mocking the NRA and specifically DeVoss who wants guns to be allowed in schools because omg bears I don’t think it’s an unreasonable comment.

If he just wanted to kill the teacher and himself I don’t see how any kids would have been harmed. My bet is at least one of those injured kids is related to him or the teacher.

We had someone in the UK attack a class of kids with a machete (so not even a normal kitchen knife). The teacher’s aide was badly wounded. No one died.

Also it’s in Australia where they treat waitstaff better than the US does, so even less reason to assume it.

In relation to your last sentence - good for you!

I’m sorry there are assholes on here upsetting you.

They’re basically converting all EU laws that already affect us to British laws and *then* figuring out what to keep and what to ditch, because there’s so many it will take years to sort it all out. I imagine that changing rules on compensation for cancelled flights will be very very low on their priority list and

Well, Presidents can generally run world war III from pretty much anywhere they want nowadays. And his golf course (and the nicest weather)is in Florida.

When I was unemployed I had to go to one of the services the UK job centres outsource to, to get help finding a job. The whole way through filling in the forms the woman I was talking to was patronising and looked down her nose at me. And then we got to qualifications and she found out I had a degree. Her entire

It’s not really the police though in this case, is it? It’s the people making the laws and the landlords taking advantage of them (pretty sure they can’t force a landlord to evict a tenant if they don’t want to).

Yes.

No but she would, if you were in a location with one of these laws. They refer to the address that 911 is being called to/about not the place calling it. It’s just if the person you live with is trying to kill you those things are both the same.
