It is inferred from what was in the last book. Melisandra sees in her fires Bran and the three-eyed crow. I think she refers to him as the young direwolf or something. Google norse mythology and game of thrones. There's a blog that explains it all pretty convincingly.

Since Bran is now the red god, he'll probably revive him, even if in an altered state, no?

As usual, you either missed or are pretending not to understand the issue.

Neither you nor I know whether a fetus is a person or not. Nobody does. You think it's not a person. I, along with plenty of other people, disagree with you. We'll just have to agree to disagree, although it's hard to see why, with the question unanswered, personhood shouldn't be considered the default.

For what it's worth, I disagree completely with the people who say it's worth it to stick it out. The ending is atrocious; even worse than the rest of the book.

The top tax rate is 24%?

Shouldn't we be more inclined to favor the children as opposed to the third wife, though?

I don't have any problem with people using cars because they're more convenient, but when you compare bikes to what they replaced, horses, the difference is substantial.

It's not high picks; it's picks. A teams' good players usually come from the draft, not free agency or trades, much moreso than in the NBA. The reason teams like NE and Baltimore are good is because they draft well. The reason Oakland and Jax always suck is because they draft poorly.

For what it's worth, I disagree with some of the other people here. That book was atrocious. No question in my mind that it was not worth reading.

I wouldn't be happy about this if I were a Chicago fan because my hope as a fan is for a team to win it all, not to avoid last place.

Does that one team- which came close but failed to win- make both what followed in Carolina and Denver a success?

The draw to this is that it includes non-NBA teams. Probably not too many people who want to see a bunch of shit NBA teams fighting it out for the right to lose in the first round.

Isn't it better to have a roll of the dice than a known failure?

Not enough has been made IMO of the severe gutlessness of his play calling. It's a real killer.

If he were to exclude the "yet", he would be correct. Love is not a max player, and the only way he ever will be is if some dumb GM decides to wildly overpay him.

Signing him to a max deal is the worst thing any team could do.

Are you being serious? Do Christians have something against sport?

Did you watch the playoffs that year? JR Smith was absolutely horrendous.
