If you didn't include '11, then it is correct. My mistake.

Who are these "plenty of people", and where is their research?

Overly simplistic, and not even true.

If they're not seeking validation, why is this even an issue?

It is none of my business ... until people seek a public affirmation of it through a recognized marriage.

Sexual conduct between people of the same sex.

Why should only one count?

Has nothing whatsoever to do with the DOMA ruling.

How so? Isn't it an objection to certain conduct, not certain people?

Violation of Equal Protection???

For people who think Alabama deserved it in '11 because losses matter more than wins, there are two clear answers:

Which game? Each played at least 19 of them overall, and played two against each other.

So what. There were probably 6 teams that would have crushed Ohio State in that game. You can't play the result.

They have paid a price for it— plenty of busts in that group.

No, instead the NFL Playoffs gave us a 13-6 team winning the title over a 18-1 team after the teams went 1-1 against each other.

Funny that you say they earned it with seven straight titles, when two of those teams ('07 LSU and '11 Alabama) played for a title only because of SEC bias.

In 7 of the last 10 years, teams in the ACC have produced more pro-bowlers than teams in the SEC, and in most of those years the difference was substantial.

Having gone to a lot of games at the Miami Arena and the AAA, I can say that the AAA really sucks. Viewing angles are terrible. Lower rows of the upper deck were great at the Miami Arena. You could look directly down on the action. There are no such seats in the AAA.

LeBatard is great. Whitlock is up and down but more often than not very good. Simmons has really fallen off in recent years. I don't find his stuff even readable anymore.

Arizona's one of the "best teams in football"? Seems quite early to label them as such, no?
