Who brought up anything about four years ago?
I did. I also watched the prior 11 series that this team won. Did you miss those?
Problems you're exaggerating.
You can't be serious?
Right. A team that's gone to 4 straight Finals and won two titles has so many holes to fill. It's not like a quality point guard alone could help, even though they were so poor at that position that they played without one for most of their last two games.
Agree 100 percent. To be carefree, young and energetic, and surrounded by countless young, attractive, and bright individuals at same time is something that IMHO can't be matched no matter how much money you earn.
Role players fell apart because they need somebody to create open shots for them. Wade wasn't able to do that, so it all fell apart. Carmelo could do that. At a minimum, it would have changed the game significantly. We'll never know whether it would have been enough, but we certainly can't conclude that it wouldn't…
I don't understand this argument. Nobody could create any offense for the Heat other than LeBron. Carmelo would have been able to, and that would have opened space for the role players too.
You can't ignore wins/losses when analyzing the most dominant. 4-0 is always better than 4-1, regardless of the score in each of those games.
Exactly. This argument is absurd. Losing a game outweighs any point differential in other games. Winning in 4 by a total of 4 points is more dominant that going 4-3 and outscoring the opponent by 150 points.
He's not? Nobody else on the Knicks is half as good as Carmelo.
Best comment I've seen on here.
Basically, black people can't agree with white people. If they do, they're just trying to be the acceptable negro, and they better not be involved in anything that markets to black people. Strong stuff.
His forearm got touched, and touching a forearm is called all the time. Don't get me wrong; it is a flop. I just think it needs context. It wasn't that egregious of a flop because there was at least some contact.
That doesn't make sense to me though. The act that's offensive is the flop, and it is a flop whether called a foul or not. It's not okay simply because it wasn't called.
The Heat shot fewer free throws last year than any team in the history of the finals.
The problem here is that although Wade flopped, it was a foul nonetheless. He got hit on the arm.
Wade flopped, sure, but he did get fouled. He was hit on the arm.
The fine is for the flop, not the result of the flop. Don't be such a homer.
What is it that he's done? I'm not trying to argue with you; I'm just curious. I personally can't see why people dislike him.
