Normally I would agree with that sentiment, but when the article specifically quotes something regarding off track realism... Tons of red flags start waving.
Next step, open up your work a little. Encourage an active modding community.
I totally disagree, if the pitch was good it would have gotten orders of magnitude less publicity. Case and point 99% of people here would never have known about it if it wasn't posted here.
