Sometimes you just have to suck it up. :) I paid retail for an are-you-f’ing-kidding-me expensive bicycle a week ago. I’ve never paid retail but I wanted it, they could get it, and none of my shops with a hook up sell the brand. I even run their logo on my ‘team’ kit (which is going to change on the next buy if they

those hubs are already a wheelset! just waiting on the frame to return to start riding them. I am also in the meantime futzing with trying tubeless on not-quite tubeless tires, so we’ll see how that goes!

Pickle ball is played on what is close to a quarter court tennis court with a racquet that looks somewhere between a paddle and a badminton racquet. The ball is soft so doesn’t really bounce. Its actually a great game for players who would have difficulty running a full court - also it can be played inside in a gym.

Indeed, last time I tried to cast my vote for funniest pun, someone accused me of forging my results! I spoke to their claims, but the dumb bunch of lugs still didn’t believe me, and the joke fell flat.

Woah woah woah, no, they absolutely do not in the overwhelming majority of cases. Outside of racing-class forged magnesium rims and carbon fibre rims, virtually every rim is heavier than tire would be at that size (And before you say it, very few people run either of the first two rims on the street, because they

Big wheels over small brakes look dumb.

The biggest change in me since the pandemic started is that I used to assume people were basically decent and reasonably intelligent. I’ve since adapted that to assume that people are basically morally bankrupt, self-centered, and stupid until proven otherwise.

Maybe just get on a real bike and take a ride outside?

Lorenzo is going to be his replacement for Aragon #2, everything is pointing to Maverick being the sole Monster Yamaha on the grid this weekend.

Even The Doctor gets sick sometimes. Hope he has a quick and full recovery.

Both tears of joy and despair after that one.

How about the abilities and confidence levels of less skilled drivers?

They studied the protests. Turns out that because they were all held outdoors and people largely respected social distancing as much as possible and wore masks that they weren’t big infection vectors. You could try...I don’t know, reading before running off at the mouth.

Bless your heart. I’m doing exactly that.

It also really helps in the US that gasoline is cheap, oil companies get large chunks of money from the government, and nobody pays the costs of dumping all of those burned hydrocarbons into the atmosphere.

As much as I think Marquez is possibly the greatest riding talent of all time, his injury and subsequent absence has really made this season so much better to watch.

Nakagami. Dammit. Serves me right for posting at half two in the morning.

The Honda has been a notoriously difficult bike to ride for the last few years. Lorenzo hated it, Alex and Bardle can’t make it competitive.
