I had to do this on my PT a few months ago — I dropped my parking garage swipe-card down the window slot one morning. Must have inadvertently gotten decaf.

What is that front bumper? Spring steel?

@Nick Allain: Here in Maryland, whenever you're on state park land, you'll find the houses and buildings all look the same — brick Colonial style house with flat rust brown painted trim. There's a house in my neighborhood that was obviously built before all the rest—it was the turn-of-the-century farmhouse, the rest

I don't see a PRNDL indicator on top of the column, so is this a three-on-the-tree? I can't see the pedals.

Anyone who hasn't clicked through the ad to the Photobucket pictures, do so immediately. That's a beautiful motor. I'm simply jealous of someone who gets to have so much fun doing a rebuild.

@theart: Point made, but have you seen today's 172 panel?

A Lancair Evolution with LS9 conversion. 300 mph.

@okidokedork: You should drive to my house in Silver Spring every morning, and then we can carpool to Arlington. I work in Virginia Square.

My family had one of these with the 200 Six and a THREE SPEED OVERDRIVE on the floor. It was even lower-line than this one, dog dish hubcaps, no roof rack, beige, with vinyl bench pickup truck seats with the notch cut out to clear the shifter. 1-2 shift wasn't until almost 30 mph, that Falcon motor sounded like it

The P-38 is my *second* favorite twin-boom piston fighter, although this one didn't really fight much:

@Hannah_101: Don't know how to drive stick? That's what test drives are for! #cartech

@okidokedork: Over here in Montgomery Co. they run lots of Chargers, and still quite a few Magnums still. #policecars

Nothing like a little lead from a Spectre to encourage product turn-over. #pickuptrucks

Dart!

@reateretrate: Really? We haven't heard these "Obama's gonna pimp out his limo" jokes enough by now? #gadgets

'67 Dart GT, didn't even have to think about it. #qotd

@danio3834: With fuel cut off, the motor would still be turning over as the car coasts down, so there would still be *some* power steering, right? #onstar
