Came here for this.

I just can’t figure out how 40% of Americans think it’s not in KAOS.

No. And that’s a fine looking high horse.

I like it, flaws and all. It’s an easy read first thing in the morning to stay aware of what the current topics of the moment are. It’s certainly not my only news source. I get why others wouldn’t be in to it, but I’m having trouble not rolling my eyes at some of the other comments here spoken from their high horse. I

I’d like to live as long as my body and mind are functioning. And no matter how old that is, I hope that I still wear red lipstick. She looks pretty fab if that’s a recent pic!

Alamo Drafthouse does a rolling roadshow that’s pretty rad... Their most popular one is called “Jaws on the Lake”. It makes the movie a lot more scary when you’re watching it on a big screen while sitting in an inner tube in a (man-made) lake.

There’s just no right in a limited multiple choice like this one.

THe first half of your post sounds like the premise of the TV show Younger. You should have pretended to be 26 when you restarted your job search. :-D

Same... we’d drink sun tea all the time when I was growing up in Texas... but then again, it was the 80's, and we did all kinds of things that wouldn’t be considered safe by today’s standards. (riding in the back of pick up trucks, walking to school alone, babysitting other kids when I was in the 5th grade, etc) And

On one hand, most of her advice sounds like crazy quackery, but on the other hand, she looks pretty amazing so maybe I do need more integrative photosynthesis in my life.

I’m a few years too old to be a millennial, but I take issue with this article... I don’t think it’s just millennial women who do this - I think it’s women starting out in their careers. I used to feel the same pressure and didn’t take my vacation time. But now that I’m more confident in my position and abilities, I

I think it depends on your role. My husband is in commissioned sales and has unlimited PTO. It’s good for him because he can manage his own business and not have to ask for days off, but he’s also not going to abuse it because if he’s not working, he’s hurting his paycheck.

Exactly! In fact there is a bus stop at that mall.

I know a girl who went on a date with him... that is not what he actually looks like. Apparently his online pics are several years old. She said he was super creepy and she had to block his number.

OMG, his twitter now says he’s going to be on Jimmy Kimmel tonight... please tell me this isn’t true??

Well, this was in Austin, so he couldn’t get an uber. :-) But yes, we have other ridesharing services and taxis. It’s not that big of a city... they were at a southwest/central mall... I can’t imagine he was *too* far away from wherever he lives.

One minor clarification - This incident happened at an AMC theater at the mall. The theater that is offering a gift certificate is a separate theater chain - Alamo Drafthouse - which is known for their strict no texting policy.

It’s almost like they’re trying to get another lawsuit filed against them. Maybe at this point they’re trying to break a record to become legendary.

This. I eat so many avocados (I’m in TX) that you really get a sense for knowing when they’re the right ripeness for eating by picking them up and gently squeezing them. Then I slice it in half. I actually have a specialized utensil for scooping out the avocado that’s kind of a cross between a butter knife and spoon

I just read that! Wish she would have written the article as a warning instead of after it blew up.
