It’s the only explanation. It was the worst of the whole category. I’m completely baffled how it won.

Seriously! Every other nominee was better on a narrative and animation level. This category has me baffled just on an artistic level, never mind the Kobe aspect.

They showed a mini-documentary today about his Olympics where he lost to Brian Boitano and it was narrated by Rob Lowe. Definitely worth a watch - he was obviously disappointed with the Silver medal but handled it with grace and sportsmanship.

Or maybe they were punishing him for his horrible hosting performance.

I watched it last night on Netflix.

Gotta disagree with you here. It was awful at first but once they figured it out it was the same. Plus RideAustin and Fasten pay their drivers more, so I still used them. I actually get picked up faster because the drivers on multiple apps prefer to drive for these companies.

If you plan in advance, you can order ahead from both Franklin and LA BBQ. Lines are for chumps.

Look, I’m doing what I can to help flip my state of Texas to blue, and I do hope you’re right.... but step 1 to unseat Cruz is still an uphill battle with him carrying a large current lead over Beto. Then the representatives races are tough because of the crazy gerrymandering.

It would be so delightful if female faculty quit and female students chose other schools to attend. There’s power in numbers, and the only way laws like this will change is if we stop supporting institutions and businesses that create policies that harm us.

Way back when I was in school, there was a student health clinic (that I believe was “free” or rather paid for through mandatory fees included with tuition). The student pharmacy had very low rates for students on certain medications - they would subsidize birth control, so my pills were only $3/month without…

I agree with the complaints against twitter, which is why I mostly avoid it, but it seems a little over the top to demand changes on a service that is free to use.
