I don’t think fans have any justification of being prejudiced like that when they haven’t played FF7R yet.

Since apparently Shinra is somehow warmongering with Wutai and/or trying to blame Avalanche of being conspiring together with Wutai, I think Wutai will get a bigger role in the game. Even if it would be optional, I think it would still be so in your face that you basically would naturally play that part.

Midgar is arguably the most interesting location and deserves being expanded. Kalm.... not so much. The Gold Saucer however is a different story.

50 hours? I don’t remember FF7 being that long. I mean, I rushed through it the first time because the story captivated me and that took me 24 hours (split across a week) playtime, but even doing lots of the extra stuffs doesn’t mean it’s a 80+ hour game.

Easy solution: get pregnant/get someone pregnant. With the baby out, you will have so little time that by the time you trickle-play FF7 Remake Part 1 to the end, Part 2 will already be out. Problem solved!

I don’t think the ENDING was the main problem people thought FFXIII had.

I haven’t had a chance to play it yet (due to lack of PS4... so I also won’t. beable to play the full game anytime soon) but I always liked the idea of Biggs, Wedge and Jessie being more than just some almost-nameless redshirts.

They should also make a FF7 demake. FF7 in FF6 style.

I actually work at an indie game studio in Taipei, Taiwan. Some of my work colleagues are friends with the Red Candle Games people. I think even if they blocked/removed a way to play an “already-bought” Devotion copy on Steam, I just _might_ be able to somehow get a... dev copy or something? But I still doubt that it…

Glad I bought it when it was still available. AFAIK you can still play it that way. But I haven’t started it yet, I always need to pull myself together before starting scary games and be in the right mood.

As an Asian living in Asia, Japan is typically considered a bit two-edged. But, since Asia as a whole is relatively conservative, Japan is still one of the more liberal countries, esp concerning homosexuality.
