I dont see Sega's handiwork here, but rather the same handiwork Atlus has on the Etrian Odyssey series. It seems like an Etrian Odyssey with Persona characters, with really works considering that Etrian Odyssey is also a dungeon crawler.

It looks sort of like Etrian Odyssey mixed with Persona. Etrian Odyssey's japanese name was smth with "labyrinth" too if I remember correctly.
