I’m just surprised players aren’t out their rooting their own horns, showing people how much work goes into the mental side of the game. I think so many average fans take it for granted. 

I really thought Hard Knocks would have some scenes about it in it. I haven’t seen any of the seasons but it felt like it would be a good fit. Crazy. 

Is there a show or documentary that gives a good example of what NFL teams studying film is like? I’m always curious about how those sessions go... who is paying attention and what they are looking for and then how it actually plays out (or doesn’t) during the game that week.

Spitting Image puppets always scared me as a kid. Ugh. They still give me the shivers.

That lawyer’s statement isn’t statement isn’t staggering at all. It is classic “I’ve got lots of black friends, so I can’t be racist.
