I live in the woods long enough to know nature is scary. Holy crap. I thought it was bad when a wolf and bear ran in front of my car.

I often think about what I would do in these type of situations and tricking a wolf into getting attacked by a bear is not something I would think to do.

Amy definitely leans to hard into the “don’t worry boys, I’m trying to look hot for you” thing

That’s why every time comedians cry about how PC culture is killing comedy, I roll my eyes. If you can’t be funny without offending then you’re not really funny.

And Tig Notaro is pretty incredible and genuinely funny, not just jokey funny but a funny person.

Carlin is funny. He uses humor. Silverman is a hack

Backlash my ass. Ya girl isn’t funny. Deal with it.

Why would it have anything to do with her being a woman? Unless you’re Triumph the insult comic dog, that kind of humor doesn’t work for me. At least Triumph sticks to mostly poop jokes.

Wow, that’s really shitty. But I guess it fits with the brash and loud and offensive type of comedy that she seems to like. And she seems to have translated that into being feminist - saying and doing what you want and being an asshole means feminist progress to some people I guess. Bullshit

So, because she’s successful she can’t be criticized?

Ha! Yes! Straightsplaining! That's totally what it is!

Eek. Note to Amy-if Tig didn’t TELL YOU she has a hard time because she “looks masculine and gay” I wouldn’t say that to a journalist.

I thought that episode of Inside Amy Schumer with Tig’s cancer bit was really awkward. Tig was awesome, but the bit was more just painful than funny.

More than the masculine-appearing jab, I’m wondering if- as your headline implies- Amy might have been one of those people who only seemed to be supporting Tig.

I don’t know much about Tig but I hope she carries on being funny and doing what she wants to do because cancer is a bitch and false friends are an irritant. She looks very like Karen Carpenter at times in the eyes.

And she does bud light commercials. Ew.

Trainwreck was a truly, truly terrible movie. Just awful on so many levels.

Is this now the moment where the Schumer ship hits the iceberg and is about to sink? This should have happened quite some time ago, when she painted all Mexican men as rapists in her act, made jokes about Mexican labor that practically amounted to ‘wetbacks’ and called latino women ‘angry’.

Just going to say here that I don't get Schumer love at all. I don't think she's that funny, and this sort of hints at why.

Not terribly surprising that someone thinks Amy Schumer is an asshole, but the fact that Notaro got so visibly upset instead of playing the whole thing off with a joke indicates a helluvalot more than mere prickly feelings.
