And don’t forget, two of them born on Christmas Day: Justin and, two years later, Sacha.

They certainly are. It’s the little details that count. I actually murmured to myself: aw, look at the red baby-Pradas.

Even better: she’s 94! (Hey, every new birthday counts for a lot once you hit 90, or so I’m told).

Both parties are adamant about electoral reform — just yesterday, Trudeau firmly reiterated that 2015 will be the last FPTP election — and, as far as I can see, the only difference is that the NDP views proportional representation as the only solution while the Liberals want to explore all options, including PR.

His father — Pierre Elliott Trudeau — was probably “cooler”, all things considered, in the sense that he inspired the original “Trudeaumania” in 1968 (or thereabouts) and was also a man ahead of his time with respect to social justice and civil liberties issues.

Agreed. One of the biggest reasons for Justin Trudeau’s success was that he and the Liberals chose to take the high road, message- and tone-wise, which entailed criticizing policy rather than attacking the person. It’s quite ironic that the youngest dog taught the two older dogs a few new tricks with respect to

Anyways, Jez, yes Justin is a very handsome man, but if a website spoke this way about a female, you’d be pissed. Like, you led with the fact that he is fuckable. Can we stop doing this?

The Liberals want to scrap FPTP as much as the NDP but their intention is to set up an all-party parliamentary committee to review proportional representation and ranked balloting while considering the possibility of mandatory voting and obtaining consensus on the wisdom of an online voting option.

I’m a Liberal Party supporter/voter who was deeply upset about their stance on Bill C-51 until I did some digging to satisfy my curiosity and perhaps calm my own self down.

It’s definitely the Kardashians: Kanye commissioned George Condo to paint this, so it’s understandable that Kim is the focal point, but I’d like to think that’s Kris Jenner directly to her right (and our left).

I cannot agree, if only because my eyeballs have seen just how ugly a Birkin bag can get.

You speak the truth!

.....but I miss the days when Jez discouraged talking about specific numbers.

A new low, even for the likes of him, isn’t it? I mean, there’s crass; there’s vile; and then there’s Ezra Levant.

I couldn’t agree more with your Stephen Lautens sentiments, Mrs. Finch: he is such a treasure and so consistent about it, too. Plus, his Photoshop skills or whatever he’s using to produce this stuff are effing amazing.

Oh yeah. In fact, I’m wondering why the Conservative Party hasn’t muzzled Ezra and that heinous Blogging Tory crowd for the duration of the election campaign. This mob is not helping the Harper brand at all in the sense that they’re reinforcing the Conservative Party’s xenophobic and sometimes even racist image. Good!

I’m finding it rather ironic that #peegate and #wankergate have cropped up at almost the exact midpoint of this election campaign. It’s almost like we deserved a “wee” break in a laughter-is-the-best-medicine sense.

Plus Ezra Levant’s seemingly homo-erotic fixation on Justin’s “everything”.

#Peegate and #wankergate, actually, at least on Twitter. #Peegate’s gotten more traction, though, and the results have been very funny and sometimes damn clever.

Yes, I’ve been in the same boat and although I did survive, there was a long spell where we just weren’t sure. All the chores can be performed almost robotically — and even the child-rearing does eventually fall into place — but, as you say, it’s the emotional component that’s truly the toughest road to hoe. I find
