My son’s preschool was like that, as was summer day-camp, both run by the local Y.M.C.A. One of my sisters-in-law had the same problem as an elementary school teacher. In Australia.

Here’s an up-to-date list:
I had the same tip-of-the-hat-to-the-Art-department thought. Even though I recognized it as photoshopped straightaway, it still set me up for the day, laughs-wise.
Not all media outlets are being this negative or trying to push the “angry Kanye” narrative, though. On Sunday night a few CBC reporters were quick to point out, via Twitter, that Kanye did not throw his microphone and stomp off the stage. Evidently, it looked that way to many who were inside the stadium but the video…
Now that you mention it...... that makes a lot of sense. I’m sure the largely non-jingoistic tone of CBC coverage helps matters, too.
WPTZ, News Channel 5!
The other thing is: he has such a distinctive speaking voice that even when I’ve heard clips on radio — without benefit of an intro — I’ve been able to recognize him straightaway. There’s a lot to be said for such a high recognition factor.
Oh, I agree. Completely. I could have said a lot more about Little Johnny Howard, so I’m glad you did!
I don’t know if this will happen but it would make for compelling viewing if I Am Cait were to explore such (less-than-glamourous) angles. Surely, this would resonate with those in the transgender community living with depression, feeling isolated and/or experiencing suicidal-ideation.
It really was mind-blowing and it’s a first-rate example of why John Oliver has come as far as he has, career-wise.
Very true, that, but I’m one of those people who found Kim more interesting-looking — and ultimately more attractive — before she started fiddling with her face.
I’m not American, so I cannot even pretend to understand the magnitude of the sway the NRA has with the Republican Party and its elected representatives, but tighter gun control laws can only come about if the cause can evolve into a bi-partisan issue. That never seems to be the case in the United States — despite…
I suspect you’re probably right. It makes me sad, though, because I find Kim actually looks way better and far less plastic-like when wearing a minimum of make-up. Not many women are that blessed.
Hmm, this might explain why a few of those Kardashians and Jenners often apply their make-up like beauty school drop-outs.
Just like the Internet, Internet High never sleeps and never takes a summer break.
I’d have to agree. Khloe only getting to celebrate her graduation 15 years after-the-fact is even sadder than the fact that Ryan Seacrest hosted the party. At Pimp Mama Kris’s house.
The irony, too, is that John Howard — the Prime Minister who paved the way towards better gun control in Australia — was a conservative-thinking politician whose party leans centre-right at best (despite their Liberal Party of Australia name).
Well, the word on the street is: we can expect a “20-percent-nicer” website, tone-wise. Honestly, I’m open to a new mindset because, at this point, anything would be better than what we have now. A lot of these boofheads aren’t nearly as clever — or witty — as they fancy themselves.
