Dear Cas, I loved that episode. so. much.

You know, you're very right, if we're speaking of a peasant or even merchant class citizen - who honestly was probably too busy working himself to death to pause and think much about how he'd much rather be banging the miller down the road than his wife. If the two men (or even women) were sitting on top of the Great

Shh, I'm roaming through his vineyards in my mind...

Is that a metaphor or are you be literal? Screw it, don't tell me! I've decided it's my new favorite obscure sex metaphor!

I think it's amazing that the mother is supportive as well. Out of curiosity, was the father mentioned at all? (I have no cable and didn't watch the episode.) It'd be really nice to see a supportive father figure as well, especially in a family like this where the little boy is drawn to what's traditionally defined

Ooooooh, I see now! :) I'm so glad I resisted my natural snarky instincts and kept myself from saying "I feel sorry for you and your (correct usage!) Reading Rainbow-less childhood."

@one_time_only No, because stole still implies something was taken from her without her permission, when, in fact, she did give it. That she regrets her decision after the fact does not give her the right to pretend she wasn't an active and willing participant at the time.

Is Merida a silent protagonist? There's no voice actress mentioned in the little blurb, and that could be an interesting change from the precocious questions young star. Something more a la Link.

I wish I could go back in time and star you for this.

[www.youtube.com] <—- That's just the theme song, but it still brings back so much nostalgic WIN. :) It was a kids show on PBS. Just curious, are from the US/Canada and a child of the 80s? If so, I'm sorry you missed this!

No talking smack about Bristol! There's a whole couch potato army of DwtS viewers just waiting to vote in her defense. (Touchtone phone only, note charges may apply for votes via text message, check with your carrier to be sure...)

The car crash - although I guess it was more of a massive demon assault on the Metallicar - at the end of the Season 6 finale of Supernatural was also pretty spectacular.

I agree, it really is a crappy language choice. Mostly because it's passive-aggressive and attempts to relieve the speaker of all responsibility and consequences of her actions. "He stole my virginity" makes for better victim-pandering than "the first guy I slept with turned out to be kind of a douche." And man, if

Watching this without the sound was really the only way to go. It's like performance art or something. "Smarmy douchebags mime emotions at one another"

Awesome! I needed a new horror-ish show to get me through the Supernatural summer hiatus, so I'll have to check this out. I canceled my cable package just as this show was starting, so I missed out but now I'll get on Netflix!

If it was someone from /b/ wouldn't they have asked the women to adhere to the Single Commandment of Child Porn and Hentai: Thou shalt only have lesbian relations in thine Field of Target whilst posing as a 14-year anime hooker. With b00bs. Big ones.

I'm sorry, but how is this less attractive than Scowly McAngryfaces up at the top of the post? Yeah, sure, I love him when he's angsty too, but I think I'd be more likely to approach someone who looks happy than who looks like they're looking for a someone to murder.

How... how is she holding that up? Is it Evil Pony Magic? It's totally Evil Pony Magic! Wielded by the Harbinger of the Adorably Bloody Ponypocalypse, I have no doubt. And today was shaping up to be such a good day...

A Love Story.
