Watching as the comment section slowly explodes on that board. Sample comment:

Why isn't he in jail? Is there a reason beyond celebrity status? Because it seems like the NFL is saying that part of the reason that he wasn't punished longer is because he wasn't convicted. (Pardon my ignorance of the facts, I haven't been following the case in detail).

"So remember that no matter how far along hockey helmets come, and they have lagged needlessly behind, there will still be work to be done if the aim is actually to make the sport safer. Because helmets don't stop concussions."

Yeah, as someone who followed the baseball numbers revolution closely, I don't ever remember getting as nasty as this. This one is about Tyler Dellow again. He's a sharp writer, of course, but Chris Jones is about the 10,000th person to complain about his unwarranted condescending approach, so take that as you will.

Nah, we shouldn't expect them to. But there are some in every sport who actually do enjoy watching games and following the league. And it's usually pretty amusing to hear their thoughts.

I'm sorry, who are you? Are we debating something?

I don't get it. Are you sure you aren't Tim?

I don't see anyone saying that she shouldn't be suspended. No one's letting her off the hook.

Thanks, Gregggg, for digging deep to let us know if the premise of this goofy comedy is realistic. Nothing worse that a review that dives right into complaints that the silly premise probably wouldn't happen if real life. Yeah, we get that. It's a movie. And it's totally irrelevant to whether a goofy comedy is

Yep. Particularly the frames at around 4 minutes+ in the video. She had to leap from one to the other. Most of the guys where able to reach from one to another.

By the way, I clicked back to the original story, and your thread there was amazing. You brought some serious idiots out of the woodwork.

Ah the predictable wet-blanket, contrarian article. "There was nothing to see there folks, just a regular old soccer game." WHAT? YOU MEAN WE'RE IMPOSING THESE DRAMATIC STORYLINES ON A RANDOM ATHLETIC ENDEAVOR?

"Imagine the reaction if this many people were tweeting Slavery jokes when the US beat Ghana."

I think I have a brain, and thought it was a very interesting read. I guess if you simply strip away the centuries of complicated race relations and self-identification, and how those things have been connected to celebrities and soccer itself, then you're right, it's really just a silly article about hair.

Man, you guys are seriously sensitive to the lightest of slights to LeBron. I'm surprised you haven't fired Drew for his past work.

If Bradley falls down, the US wins that game.

Or just fall down when you're bumped off the ball.

Most...exact that the matches are super long, there are plenty of ads, it's not done by country, and it's impossible to recreate in the yard with kids. I guess it's on during the day and pretty simple to explain.

Dwyane Wade does not flop as badly.

Full credit to DeAndre Jordan for holding in the laughs during the Chris Paul tweet.
