They didn't exactly just come out. The same Zune HD has been around for a year and a half without a refresh.

Well, hey, those stores are always packed though.

Though they may rebrand the Zune service, it's unfortunate that another Zune device isn't available for sale any longer.

@deimosthompson rikys: I sympathize, but it's kind of assumed that when you read Gizmodo, they're writing posts about U.S.-centric gadget technology.

@Damatrx: Yeah, that's what I was thinking too.

On a technical/geek nature, on paper, the Android tablets win, I think.

Wow, Dell, the epitome of all that is quality in consumer gadgetry, released an awful tablet?

@djdare: Awesome quote. It actually caused to me laugh/snort coffee onto my computer monitor.

Intel engineers: "Oopsie."

@TheFu: Well, maybe so, but why would somebody get something used from ebay, from three years ago, rather than a brand new iPod Touch that also has a ton of apps, while you can also use it as a traditional iPod?

I like Obama, in fact, I voted for him, but honestly this is just hot air.

@collectiveego: Three years ago, from an original 'dumb smart phone', a Nokia Symbian phone that AT&T briefly sold, that I keep riding on with unlocked phones.

@radio.one: a Web only "phone" for VOIP?

@collectiveego: Well let's see: I get $15 *unlimited* data with my old plan, but if I upgrade to a new plan I get to pay $15 for 200mb or $25 for 2GB.

Forget Motoblur, they just mucked it up with outrageous pricing.

@ImSpartacus: Nope. To me that would be like throwing away money, which makes me gag.

You know, if I weren't riding on an old AT&T grandfathered data plan on an unlocked smart phone, I'd probably go back to using a Razr or something.

@erphan: Well, for new iProducts around the bend, I meant 2-3 years down the road.

Is it me or is Tim Cook trying a bit too hard to be as quote worthy as Jobs?
