Why would your food need to go up more than 15%? That’s the amount of tips that the wage would be covering. Heck, you could raise food prices 17% and pay 15% commission to the waitstaff and everything breaks even.

Raising the waitress wage from $3/hr to $15/hr is $96 over an 8 hour shift. There is no way that equates to $10 per entree. Maybe $1 / entree.
