1st gear: Good. Can we stay the execution of the manual transmission gti, and stop the dealers from charging a markup over the now higher cost than auto gti?

As they say, you can make a small fortune racing cars, but you have to start with a large fortune.

How can we forget this classic by “Der Strand Jungen”

I would take this list with a LARGE grain of salt. I work in the auto industry and have NEVER heard of “caredge” nor have I have heard them being used as a real source of info.

Guess the note on the Pacifica Hybrid didn’t make it to dealers who still show a markup on them.

But according to JD PowerHammer, they are the best made vehicles on the planet now.  Doesn’t make sense.

Hmmmm....7 out of 9 of the slowest are FCA products. Shocked.

If you had a VW like me, they’d be failing with enough regularity that they’d stay in production for longer.

As for Honda, you can also add to it “don’t expect to purchase a water pump from us for your seven and a half year old civic” as I discovered the hard way....

From how I understand it with Honda/Acura  the factory is like “Don’t even bother asking for something...you get what you get and don’t get upset”  :D

Wait, wait wait: GARBO!?

That sentence gave me pause, too. It sounds like Michael Jackson wanted people to know what he looked like naked, but only after he was gone, so he entrusted it to Jane Fonda to spill the beans...?? Let’s face it: Jackson was one weird dude, so who knows what his motives were.

The only logical explanation is that skinny dipping with Jane Fonda fulfilled an ancient prophesy given to Michael Jackson as a child visiting a witch in Poughkeepsie in the early 70s.

Jackson visited her on set and suggested skinny dipping one “beautiful moonlit night.” I think it was because he knew he was going to die young, and I would talk about him being naked

I feel ya on the E-Class. First impression of it was, ohhhh, dear..... It looks a little better in luxury spec with the more traditional grille IMO.

BMW’s been disappointing me with their redesigns since 2003... the E60 5-series, E65 7-series, E63 6-series, all absolutely hideous. The E90 was passable. The early years of the F-chassis cars like the F30 and F10 were promising, as they toned down the Bangle insanity for a more conservative style that felt more like

As much as the E class has lost any sense of bespokeness since the original W212 and the BMW line as a whole is falling prey to the ever widening maw, I feel like volkswagen and especially the MK8 golf have just gone way too serious in appearance. All of the fun soft styling has been angled and smooshed down to a low,

New WRX. Need a turbo hatch ASAP without cladding.

The Subaru WRX. So. Much. Grey. Plastic. Cladding.
