Ok, panic attack cancelled.

I just... that doesn’t make sense to me. How can a payment of $0 be a payment? There was no payment!

My wife is under the PSLF program. Since we had our second kid, her PAYE monthly payment is $0. I called to check in with them and apparently a monthly repayment of $0 does qualify toward the 120 total. I.... cannot believe that this is true and I am just waiting to learn how fucked we are going to be.

I also saved my lunch money for SNES games. I don’t think I ate lunch once in 7th and 8th grade.

This was an excellent read, Peter.

Man, here in Syracuse we take great pride in the amount of snow we get. But man, the Tug Hill plateau makes us look like Malibu.

Here’s a dumb question. If I have already maxed out my IRA, how do I go about putting leftover money into index funds?

I don’t know, does that fan section exist? I was 16-21 and was a big fan* during that era. But we all got older and got to live through all the terrible things that have happened since, both insides of sports and out. I would like to think that has granted perspective.

*I’m no longer a Yankee fan. I could not continue

I actually love it here and I hope to never leave. Traditional employment opportunities could be better, no doubt, but there isn’t anywhere I’d rather be.

Take your star and go straight to hell, sir!

Man, I was 9-19 through the 90s. What is with the 90s nostalgia? The 90s sucked, other than some entertainment holdovers from the 80s.

So wait, the only penalty is that the “charity” has to be dissolved? There are no actual repercussions outside of public shame for a group of people incapable of feeling shame? Well that doesn’t seem fucking just.

Are we really going to go an entire year (or more?) between these going forward?

I absolutely loved Doctor Strange. I hope Phase 4 contains more oddball stuff like Strange and Ragnarok. Let’s get weird and interesting!

I mean, Infinity War was certainly a spectacle, but I don’t think it was a particularly great (or, you know, complete) film.

Thor is my favorite MCU character. After putting this out there and getting feedback from you fine folks, I do think I ought bump Ragnarok up 2 spots and Age of Ultron down 4 spots. I stand by

Iron Man 3 was definitely not a bad movie. But I think most of the other movies were better.

I don’t agree, but I won’t fight you over it because I love Thor (the character and the movie and I love that people love Thor (the movie) even more than I did.

Man, I LOVE Thor: Ragnarok. Frankly, if I could watch any one of them again right now, I’d pick that one. At initial thought, I can’t believe that it’s not in my top 3. But when I look at the list, I think back and remember just how amazing the first Guardians was. And just how awesome Winter Soldier and (to a lesser
