That’s a good pediatrician.

This is my first All Clad purchase. I’ve been waiting for one of the sets to go down in price before pulling the trigger, but none of them contain a 12” pan, which is another necessity. As someone whose family does a LOT of cooking, I’m really looking forward to retiring my Oneida Limited cookware.

Honestly, all holidays should be set to(or at least observed on) the Monday of whatever week it would fall into. Three day weekend followed by a four day week to ease you back in. What a supreme waste of a holiday when it falls mid-week.

Anyone who votes for David Eckstein should be blackballed from the profession.

As someone who hates “mainstream” country, but has a very soft spot for bluegrass, I’ve known about Chris Stapleton for some time now. He used to sing in the SteelDrivers and, holy shit, does that dude have a voice on him. He’s probably my favorite vocalist in music these days.

I still prefer to Uniball Signo. I guess the Jetstream gets my vote by proximity.

I legitimately feel bad about the negative attention that his failing campaign has gotten lately. He seems like a good fellow and I’d love to see more people like him in politics. Webb, fuck that guy, he earned his embarrassment. But man... No need to pile on Chafee, guys.

Nominated for the Kinja wall of fame. Amazing.

I read this imagining it being written by Hamilton wearing Burneko’s skinsuit as a disguise.

I grew up in Central NY (Italian Catholic Land). No one “celebrates” Columbus Day here. It’s just another quasi-holiday that some people get off. However, the statue of Columbus in Columbus Circle in Syracuse generally gets vandalized every year around now, so that’s something.

Well, you’re closer than Jia, for sure.

I like the Dadspin stuff. I’d like more of that.

I don’t know that it was my first time, but it was the first time that I can remember. It was an arcade machine in a pool house at the Bonnie Castle Marina in Alexandria Bay. I don’t remember much else, but I was young (4-5) and I LOVED arcade games. I was much more interested in playing that than going in the pool.

I don’t much like football. There are plenty of reasons I can rattle off: The contrived militarization; the obscenity of watching young men ruin themselves running headlong into each other; the NFL’s refusal to adequately protect its players or even acknowledge the sport’s lasting hazards in pursuit of profit; the

They ruined the sprites. I don’t know why I can’t just get the game with the original graphics, original translation, original gameplay. I don’t want an HD remaster! I want to play the game that I grew up loving without having to find a SNES and a TV that will play it!

I haven’t yet read past the opening paragraph, but I just wanted to say that I envy you.

So... I have thoughts.

Greg, you’re quickly joining Hamilton as my favorite Gawker writers.

Thanks Kristin!
