You'd better hope that champagne store also sells #1, #2, and #3 starting pitchers.

I would add signing up for a CSA if you have access to one.

We have the Wake Up Light, it is just wonderful.

I feel like I can change an outlet pretty safely on my own (I haven't, but I think I know enough to do so). What does actually give me pause is running a new line to the electrical box (or replacing one).

My house was built in 1934 and we've got an arch going from the living room to dining room. However, the kitchen-to-dining room and kitchen-to-living room doorways are square doorways. When (if) I get around to tearing out all the lath & plaster, I'd like to convert them to arches as well. I really like arches.

I am just getting into woodworking, but I wanted to say that this is absolutely gorgeous.

They're making a sequel. Presumably, more than one sequel.

Err, sherry, not brandy. That... might do it, actually.

Man, we have a steakhouse in Syracuse that does these brandy sauteed mushrooms that are the best thing I've ever eaten. I haven't been able to figure out how to replicate them. They are SO peppery and delicious. Ohmanohmanohman.

Marchman, Hellboy is clearly #1. You've been lied to, my poor, poor friend.

I really liked New Vegas, but oh my god, I've never played a buggier game. I was playing the Xbox 360 version and it crashed more than 20 times, for sure. I've never had a more frustrated experience gaming than with the 100+ hours that I spent with New Vegas.

I think you forgot:

We were at The Blue Monk in Buffalo, NY. I am so fascinated with the culture & food of the Low Countries (Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Germany) since we don't have a lot from there in our area and it's kind of under-represented in our entertainment media. Big fan.

This is barely tangentially related, but I had a Duchesse de Bourgogne at a Belgian restaurant in Buffalo last weekend and LOVED it. I just picked up a 4-pack of it from our co-op.

We reserved a Syracuse City Park for 8 hours for $60. My friend got ordained and performed the ceremony. We got matching stainless steel bands designed and made by a jewelry smith for about $600. We got some amazing food from a local small restaurant for $500 and had the reception at our house. We made the dessert a
