Goddamnit! Fuck you, Zack Snyder for your continued influence on one of my favorite characters of all time. This is not Dick Grayson and not something I’m going to watch.

Man, they really just can’t let this whole “dark and gritty” thing go, can they? Were they all that emotionally scarred by The Dark Knight?

There was a record store on Hennepin Ave in Minneapolis just down the street from the First Avenue Club that I would frequent when I was downtown in the early nineties. On the message board there was a band (Nova Mob) looking for new members postcard with a number and the name Grant. As a budding Mould/Husker Du fan I

I started with Warehouse and then worked my way back...I do have a special affinity for New Day Rising though.

I started with Candy Apple Grey and worked my way backwards. FYW is indeed their best.

Sad news to start the day.

I feel so bad for Cavil. The dude is so damn charming, you can tell just from that one stupid GIF. Still irritates me the man from uncle bombed, that movie was awesome.

I have always loved The Defenders, from their wacky weird incarnations to their more grounded rosters. Any team that can have Doctor Strange and The Hulk working together is way too freaky to ignore. I’m also looking forward to seeing what they do with the Netflix-based version of the team that’s hitting the comics...

Hulk asking people to think well of him feels all sorts of wrong.

Was that BWANA BEAST?

As I said in my other reply, I understand that metatextual intent, but I don’t feel it’s very authentic to the world of the TV show itself. It doesn’t seem like a plausible outgrowth.

I’m gonna miss Peter Capaldi’s Doctor. But he’d a perfect live-action Rick Sanchez.

It’s faun, not fawn. Faun = half human, half goat ie Pan, fawn = baby deer.

‘The events that turned Victor Stone into Cyborg in Batman vs Superman actually turned him into a living, breathing Mother Box’

I remember watching the ‘66 tv show.. I was pretty young but I didn’t get a “camp” vibe like the Batman tv show of the time. Seemed to be a fairly straightforward drama with a ‘superhero’ twist... It will be difficult to keep it grounded (if that’s the idea) but I’d probably give it a watch.

oO

I bet the climax of the movie is a homecoming ball, which she shows up at after the Hollywood ugly duckling makeover, and she tells her date, “Face it tiger....”

io9 is total Marvel fanboys, man. They crap all over DC and it’s a conspiracy.

All he did was choke the flame with nitrogen.
