God, I wish I had stories like these! I can't think of any good ones of my own, but I did once work with a server who waited on the most rude, obnoxious table. Loud as hell, complaining about every little thing, insinuating the server was stupid for making "mistakes", which weren't mistakes, they just (purposefully,

That is AWESOME!!!I wish our managers would do stuff like that. We have a regular Friday night table who routinely stiffs the server and are just downright rude and nasty to all the staff, and the managers refuse to say anything to them. Good for you and your manager!!

A good ol' "fuck off" usually works wonders for me when told to "SMILE!!!!!"

Eat humanely raised meat. Problem solved.

PSA: If you are unable to drive after a therapy appointment, you should stop seeing that therapist.

Glad you solved that.

There is an undiscovered force originating in the human mind. It's called...the mind. Or consciousness of consciousness. Maybe "undiscovered" isn't the exact word for it, but the concept of the mind is still an elusive one in the scientific community.

I couldn't count the number of customers I've waited on who put their serious face on and claim to really be celiac and have a "serious" intolerance...then order chips and queso, or hummus with pita bread. It's a joke for myself and all the servers I work with, and servers everywhere, I have no doubt.

Awkward my ass. This was mostly pretty hilarious.

It's like any oppressed group. You don't get the privilege of being human, of making mistakes, and not the best choices sometimes without criticism from outsiders. Your humanity is always up for scrutiny.

Very true!

Yeah, isn't it funny (i.e. sickening and tragic) how it's changed? I didn't realize it until I read this article.

Ah the 90s. This was back when even rich kids ate toxic junk food. We were too poor to get near this stuff... though, oh how I pined for it.

Why is imperfection a bad thing?

You watch too much porn. But I'm sure that explanation makes you sleep a lot better at night.

B/c women aren't fucking men they're not sexually satisfied? You have a lot to learn about women...

"I would be shocked if the the production company did anything more than call a model service and ask for some hot women."

This is one of those asinine, rambling, useless defenses that has nothing to do with the issue at hand that people always give when they know they're really in the wrong but aren't ready to admit it yet. Address the point, Pharrell.

While I disagree on whether or not it's an outlandish request (especially if the restaurant is busy or it isn't that fancy of a place), as a server I know I speak for all of us in appreciation of your over-tipping!

UGH. So obnoxious. But I do love when people ask for ridiculous requests like that, or for crazy substitutions b/c our kitchen just won't do it, and I get to tell customers NOPE. One of my greatest pleasures.
