The Host movie was a very good example of taking a decent book and turning it into a failcanoe of a movie. The worst part of the movie was the "inner voice" effect of the main character. Bleh.

You don't know the half of it. I could cite the breadth of scientific fields that all independently reach the same conclusions about age of the earth/universe. Geology, paleontology, biology, astrophysics, etc. Explain the speed of light through a vacuum and how that required a much older universe than 8,000 years…
