I don’t think anyone is really surprised by this reminder that Palmer Luckey is a piece of shit.

This is *exactly* the change I suggested they implement the instant they pushed out the updates.
I’m glad someone at Valve had the same idea. It’s really what they should have gone with to begin with.
Stranger Things didn’t win anything?
For fuck’s sake.
Why not just make the reviews from non-steam-purchased copies of the games visible without them affecting the game’s score? I don’t give two shits about scores, I read reviews to make my purchases. Just make reviews from kickstarter backers or otherwise visible.
The anime series really bugged the hell out of me, I don’t understand why it gets the praise that it does. The main character is a self-proclaimed genius/paranoid schizophrenic who’s manic outbursts are so damned frequent I wanted him to get killed by episode 3 just to shut him up.
Worst of all, it takes the “genius”…
The strongest relationships are those in which loving partners also happen to be best friends, so yes.
So...a monster. Not a pocket one, but an actual one. Great job, Korea! That’s a disgusting improvement.
How the fuck can anyone hate Star Trek?
What’s your beef?
Gross.
The game *didn’t* launch badly. It’s the biggest Steam release of the year. It made something on the order of 13 million bucks at launch, on Steam alone.
The problem with Hello Games is that they were utter fools to get mixed up with Sony, who more than likely are the ones what demanded silence on the part of Murray…
Oh, awesome! This was a fucking brilliant short, one of the best of the recent Anime “festival”. It’s a shame it’s not getting a whole series, but more of this IP is better than none.
My girlfriend and I have been watching this. She’s really into it, and I can appreciate the effort put into the production, but it’s not something I have the capacity to accept as anime, because they’re puppets.
When a character is standing in the wind, with their hair being swept back in the breeze, I know there’s…
I’m curious : When you reach out to a company for a comment, do you just use a form letter with bits exchanged, ala “Adlibs”, where you express your sympathies but wanting info anyway?
Dear ______, so sorry about your recent troubles with ______ and ______ and ______. That must be _____. Anyway, I’m _______ from…
Does the survey specify if these are gross estimates, or net? I’m assuming it’s gross.
I have a friend working in Kyoto as a software engineer, and he makes about $43k USD last I checked, and that is *insane*. It’s also insane to realize that I make more than top-level executives in the Japanese game industry.
I…
If you plan on buying PSVR (and you should), you’ll want the Neo.
Save your pennies.
Or become a PC gamer and get a Vive, which is significantly more impressive, but then you’ll be saving, like, 100x as many pennies, or something. I don’t do math.
How about sex.
No? Yeah, too scary a prospect for this site’s target demographic, I guess.
Still worth a go, though!
For quite a while as a freelance game journo, writing for Kotaku was one of my career goals, but I’ve since found a writing career in “Big Tech” that pays far, far above anything I could have made as a journalist, well enough to provide for an actual future, so now I have little interest.
But good luck to whomever…
This looks fun. It’s a shame it’s temporary, because a permanent mode like this could actually get me to give a shit about the game.
Ah well.
