Looks like Mech Commander...a bit.
Figures that they'd show this thing off while I'm waiting for my Virtuix Omni to arrive. You can't really crouch or jump using that rig...and you need special shoes, too. Seems like with this thing you just run around in your socks.
Shit.
This video got me excited for a game I don't give two shits about. That's an accomplishment!
In an interview with the BBC, one of the employees in the Google X lab—the part of Google responsible for really crazy stuff like self-driving cars and Google Glass—explains how rewarding failure instead of punishing it encourages people to take risks they wouldn't otherwise take:
If the person you're dating doesn't share your interests, find another person to date who does. That's it. That's your only option if you actually want to be in a happy relationship.
We'll just start a NEW conspiracy! I suggest asteroid mining. It's MY idea!
The last time I saw any kind of "authentic" inclusion of Jewish culture in a game was in "Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption" (which is a game everyone should play). The first 3rd of the game takes place in Crusade-era Prague, where a side-quest has the player dealing with a rampaging Golem (a Jewish creature of…
You're spilling all the secrets! Stop telling them things! Don't you read the Jewsletter? We can only tell the gentiles so much before someone sends out the Mossad to "deal" with it.
I enjoy mocking Jewish culture and Jews in general, and while I suppose I have something analogous to pride about being ethnically Jewish, I don't particularly cherish Jewish culture. I enjoy proliferating stereotypes, though!
A sound bar is no substitute for a true surround sound system. Not even close.
This is the first anime I've ever seen that is entirely CGI, and I don't like that at all. the characters look pretty awful and their animation is shitty, at best. The premise was enough to get me to grab the series, but I don't have high hopes if this is the standard production values I can expect.
If I could figure out a way to avoid the irritation and bumps that result from shaving my pubes, I'd shave them all the time.
Been playing the alpha and beta builds of this for a while. It's brilliant. If you're a fan of Deus Ex, System Shock, Mass Effect and others, you should buy Consortium.
I wonder if a mecha anime will ever be produced that doesn't have shitty cell-shaded mechs. Gurren Lagaan I think was the last.
Eh, it's more because Luke needed to reach his contractually-obligated daily article quota than include an Amazon link.
As a 33 year old, I can say with confidence that I've never been a fan of the Resident Evil games, and wouldn't care if they vanished altogether.
So there. I don't know exactly what that accomplished, but as a representative of their referenced age group, I know I've accomplished something.
Anything CyberConnect 2 develops, I will play. They have some of the most talented animators, modelers and texture artists in the entire industry, regardless of region. Their games are generally a joy to play.
So I'll play this. Especially if they release on PC, like they did for some reason with the last one.
There's a reason all of their marketing videos have them spraying the stuff all over white shirts and white phones and white shoes and cardboard boxes and ANYTHING in which it won't show up as a foggy white mess.
Doesn't stop it from being an amazing hydrophobic compound. Just because it fogs shit up doesn't make it…
