I mean, I don’t think anyone is in here idolizing her. More of this kind of situation:

This. I had no intention of watching because I didn’t like his last special before 8:46. (I don’t really consider 8:46 a standup special so much as a Ted talk.) I just sat there watching it and not laughing. Honestly, it made me sad to be watching him and feeling bored.

If he were a white woman making all these entitled demands, we’d have a new name for him.  Someone at Netflix better let him speak to a manager. 

This is too accuarate and describes just about any male working stand-up to a tee. To a one they are all guys who found comedy so people wouldn’t beat the shit of them and when they make it they turn that anger on everyone else. Honesty why I lost interest in stand-up. 

I watched it this past weekend, and it wasn’t that funny. It got a couple laughs out of me, but the constant return to the trans jokes got old REAL quick. There were a couple of heartfelt moments that I’m not sure weren’t genuine. 

‘I’ll meet with these people and won’t bow to any demands! Also they have to meet all of my demands! And they have to...bring me cake, yes, cake!’

Chappelle seems to be obsessed with trans people for some reason and I’d love to hear why that is. It’s insane that he can’t stfu about trans people. This has been going on for years with him.

It makes him sound petty and small, both in this swipe at Gadsby and his “I’ll only meet with you if you meet all of my demands” bullshit.

You know what’s scary about this? That there are a whole bunch of black writers & intellectuals who are gonna intellectualize and legitimize this low down insult against black women.

Him and his brother were the same dudes saying Free Aaron Hernandez and supporting him. So you support an accused murder who may have killed three people, but black men doing nothing and  getting shot by cops, you had “ limited info” so you  can’t support that?

He’s basically saying that “hoteps” are selectively accusing Kamala’s style choices of being performative because they are sexists, but ignoring or outright celebrating a male policitican’s clearly-performative choices.

All fairness she's actually wearing them for their intended purpose. Also it's not 1997.
