I absolutely care about what I do to my body, which is why I don't "make love" with self-absorbed, demanding weirdos from Craigslist.

Everyone wants a boyfriend who is a good boss. A boyfriend who doesn't tolerate slacking, who has a bedroom in which you will not be sleeping, and who wants a muse.

Sometimes I lament the fact that, as a plus-sized lady, I am not what much of society deems attractive.

Just a personal preference, I think you should drop the one from Jacob Salazar. That is a textbook example of a functionally illiterate person getting help ordering their food, not a dumb person being a jerk/insane.

I'm all for making fun of jerks, but sometimes a bit of sympathy for someone with a shameful problem

I would have told the gluten lady that I couldn't bring her a veggie dog with a clear conscience knowing that she was 'very alergic' to gluten.

I have that friend! She is also gluten-sensitive, having followed all the diseases-du-jour for several decades, from tinnitus to ADHD to, oh, what's the one where you're sore all over and just generally weak and unwell?

It's pretty decadent, no doubt. I've only had one meal in my life that even came close to the cost of this and it was, without a doubt, the best meal of my life.

So, just to be clear, anyone who is concerned about income inequality is only allowed to eat Banquet frozen dinners? AND you're shamelessly linking to your blog?

This is the same party that insists a person's money is for them to do with as they wish, taxes are the devil, free market blah blah blah.

I wouldn't fuck a Republican for any amount of shave/d ice.

Hey, Fox News is outraged over a millionaire buying a luxury good. That's new.

I'd imagine the $1000 price tag is the cost of the food (something like a 10 or 12-course tasting menu) with wine pairings to go with each course, for two people. Tasting menus and wine pairings tend to be inflated in cost, but it's an experience.

Well I do know there's a huge markup on a lot of foods that we think of as staples here - bread, milk, fresh produce, certain types of meat - on the mainland because of shipping prices etc. so I have to think that would factor in on the price (my aunt who lives in Hawaii).

Yeah, the least he could have done was take some instagram pics.

This is so fucking republican. "I pay your salary so you shouldn't get to do the things I do." I work for municipal government and we have a new conservative mayor. He wants to cut raises from the budget to save money. You know, cause he's for the people. Never mind that if you can't offer reasonable compensation

Thanks for sharing this. I get so frustrated when conservatives complain about "big government." American bureaucracy may get a little out of control sometimes, but I'm happy to pay taxes to live in a country where kids don't starve or die from easily treatable illnesses just because their parents are out of work.

The conservative media seems to completely forget that the POTUS makes a salary of $400,000+ a year. That's more than enough to spend a grand on dinner once and a while. And it's none of our fucking business what he spends his money on anyway.

That Obama is awful for dragging his staff to Hawaii. So much better with W - he dragged them to middle of nowhere ranch in Texas for his vacation.

Oh he can do no right. I recall conservative news and bloggers being outraged when he was photographed wearing flip flops on vacation because it was not very "presidential". So he does something more presidential (eating at a nice restaurant) and that's not okay either.

BARRY OBAMA YOU HYPOCRITE! I THOUGHT MICHELLE OBAMA SAID WE'RE NOT ALLOWED TO EAT ANYMORE!
