I recently tried to report an error on Google Maps, but the form didn’t really cover the problem.

This is especially useful for roses. (I can just cut more hydrangea from my bush--y’all city folks--smh).
I have a warning about befriending Muslims around Ramadan. Last time I did it was with some tenants I had. Late one day, one of them came running to my office in a panic saying there was a leak in his apartment and everything was getting soaked. I raced over there with my giant wrench to turn off the water and found…
Smash the ends a little bit. The handle of a knife works well. It’s the same idea as cutting on and angle and then slicing up, but more effective for super woody stems like lilacs. There is no better time than when I can open my windows and smell the lilacs from my yard and the neighbors.
Oh yes they screwed up every which way. Having flown United for years I can tell you if they don’t want you on the plane you don’t board, but they let this guy take a seat. Stupidos! So far the CEO lied about the circumstances, the reasons behind the removal and the demeanor of the passenger. Their insistence led to…
I didn’t say FLYING was a human right. Not forcefully throwing someone off a plane leaving him bloody and unconscious should be part of civilized society, let alone a mission statement for an airline.
First...Not a dude. Second, if it is indeed a fair system then OK but according to others it puts aside the higher class passengers and the frequent fliers. Third—They dragged this person, rendering him bloody and unconscious? THAT is a violation of human rights, yes. And I bet the legal system will make sure they…
No. Just no. The time to resolve any overbooking situation is in the terminal. Once a passenger is seated, THAT should be the number one priority.
In this case, the “bump” was caused by a deadhead crew going from Chicago to Louisville. This crew was to man a flight the next day (Monday, today).
That means that…
Shenanigans of course meaning getting to stay in the seat you fucking paid for.
By arguing you’re giving that person the RIGHT to react in a less than pleasant manner.
I put myself in the passenger’s place. I would never think this could happen and would assume protocols are in place. Instead of holding everyone and seeing if they could up the ante until 4 people caved and stepped aside they boarded the plane with everyone seated and ready to go. So I am sitting in my seat, the one…
Actually, it went down exactly like that. Regardless of whether it was intended to knock him unconscious, that’s exactly what happened. At that point they should have called EMS and not moved him. There was no telling what kind of damage that hit did. I wonder if the millions this guy is going to get was worth…
Also, advise United about rental car services that could have gotten their employees to Louisville with no such issue.
Airlines are within their rights to kick you off an overbooked plane, even if you’ve paid for a ticket and don’t want to leave. According to United employees, a “computer” picked a man who said he was a doctor and needed to see patients in the morning to be dragged off a flight this weekend.
We don’t know what happened, but what we do know is that the man was a doctor who had patients to see the next day at the hospital where he works. That seems like a good enough reason as any to take a stand and insist on your flight. They could have promised to get him home in time but clearly they could not. They…
You’re giving an awful lot of benefit of the doubt to a company who thinks knocking a man unconscious is a good business decision.
This should not be referred to as a case of overbooking; they were not overbooked. They were fully booked, and decided they needed some employees (that were not booked) moved to a different airport.
No babies were killed or sold for parts and that lie landed someone in jail so tread very carefully.
Because abortion is a legal and necessary medical procedure. Because people who use medicaid deserve to be able to choose their own doctor.
Because when abortions are not available women die. See Ireland, Romania in the communist era, and so on. Abortions are part of women’s health care whether you like it or not.
