I like your take. Regardless of how I personally feel about the Bush family, I generally respect Nancy’s political instincts. I trust that she acts strategically, and we benefit from that.

I think you’re off the mark if you believe it’s only societal norms that bond the Bush and Obama families. There is sincere affection there that can’t be faked. Democratic voters can sense that authenticity, which has gone a long way to rehabilitating the Bushes.

Has anyone in that family ever acknowledged or apologized for their horrendous civil rights record or the treatment of the LGBT community or the complete disregard for the HIV/AIDS epidemic at the time?

My company manages several office warehouse parks. A tenant who has a security company and provides sirens for police departments, had his office vandalized, windows broken, and he was burglarized.
